Yang Hao is a PH.D. candidate working on the studies of coherent THz radiation and hot-spot of Bi-2212 Intrinsic Josephson Junctions. Her research aims to improve the THz emission power from lithographically pattered Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 mesas. These efforts would motivate further investigations on boosting the radiation and optimizing the design micro-fabricated BSCCO mesas as source for THz-on-a-chip applications.
