Schaudieh Samadi is a pre-medical student double-majoring in Biological Sciences and Spanish at the University of Illinois at Chicago. While involved in many health-related student organizations, she is also a member of the Energy Initiative.
Her interest towards concepts on sustainability pertain to urban areas across regions and the globe, varying policies and programs, and historical trends and current events, which positions the current generation of students as key players and innovative thought leaders for future change and decision-making. Schaudieh’s research project under the Energy Initiative contributes to the intersection of energy, society, technology and resilience. While conducting research, she works as a tutor at the UIC Writing Center and volunteers at the Illinois Medical District.
